An 80 year tradition of innovation and looking to the future
The establishment of AKS in 1995, a design and development subsidiary company in Dresden, gave us greater ability and capacity to build highly efficient and innovative motors. Furthermore, we work together with various univiersities and research institutes on development projects at the highest level.
In the middle of 2002, the firms KATT and AKS merged to form the company Antriebstechnik KATT Hessen GmbH (AKH). Since then, the company has been directed by the two shareholders Konrad Kadletz and Uwe Guthardt.
A Strong Team
Over the decades we have become effective problem solvers and suppliers for electric machines and higly techinical developed products. Furthermore, the manufacturing of standard and specialised motors has been developed and tested with powerful test benches.
The majority of our expert personnel of 170 competent and motivated staff - average 41 years of age - having worked at AKH for more than 15 years. This knowledge and ultimate experience of the team is an important foundation of our company.
As the largest local industrial establishment in Homberg, AKH is an important cornerstone in employment and education in our community.
